We reject the static. The Phase-Shift Earrings are a sculptural exploration of the precise instant a solid form yields to intense energy.

Inspired by the physics of melting points, the design captures a rough-hewn, geometric crystal as it appears to liquefy, dripping into a cascading, molten pool. It is a frozen moment of transition—a dialogue between the rigid and the fluid, the raw and the refined. The result is an earring with exquisite movement, where the golden droplets seem caught mid-fall, shimmering with every turn of the head.

◈ ELEMENTAL COMPOSITION (MATERIALS)

A deliberate study in contrasting states of matter.

STATE MATERIAL FINISH & FORM
THE SOLID Rough-Cut Clear Quartz Crystal Unpolished, geometric hexagonal prism. Chosen for its natural inclusions and raw, icy clarity that catches light unpredictably.
THE LIQUID 18K Yellow Gold Highly polished, fluid form. Sculpted to resemble molten metal with organic, tear-drop terminations that imply downward motion.
THE SETTING Sterling Silver A clean, architectural bezel that securely holds the quartz, providing a cool-toned transition between the crystal and the ear.

◈ PRESERVATION PROTOCOL (CARE)

To maintain the integrity of this kinetic study, please adhere to the following care instructions:

  1. THE CRYSTAL: The rough-cut quartz may have natural internal fractures. Never use an ultrasonic cleaner or steam cleaner, as this could cause the stone to crack. Clean only with a soft, damp cloth.

  2. THE GOLD: The high-polish finish of the 18K gold droplets can be maintained by gently wiping with a specialized jewelry polishing cloth to remove oils and restore shine.

  3. STORAGE: Store in the provided Catalyflux™ presentation box or a soft pouch, separate from other jewelry, to prevent the harder quartz from scratching softer metals or gems.

  4. CHEMICALS: Avoid contact with harsh household chemicals, chlorine, or perfumes, which can degrade the silver setting and dull the gold's luster.
